K&F Consulting was founded in 1991 by Howard N. Kenyon and Gregory L. Fordham. At that time, the Firm was solely dedicated to serving the needs of government contractors and their attorneys in areas involving disputed claims, terminations and compliance matters.

In 2001, K&F expanded its service offerings to provide its immense forensic technology skills to litigation issues outside of the government contracts industry. As a result, today the Firm provides forensic auditing, accounting, e-discovery and computer forensic services to a wide range of legal specialties outside of the government contracts industry such as labor and employment matters, trade secrets, construction, anti-trust, bankruptcy, and civil fraud.
