The position of Junior Computer Forensic Consultant is an entry level to journeyman position. Computer Forensic Consultants will be assigned tasks within a project and their progress closely monitored. Computer Forensic Consultants perform data gathering, data analysis, basic research, and assist with report writing and production. Ideal applicants should possess:

• College degree (business or information technology preferred)
• Computer Skills
• Knowledgeable of PC applications such as
• word processing and desktop publishing,
• spreadsheet applications using date and time math, string manipulation, financial and statistical functions, database functions, analytical and decision making features,
• personal databases including relational database proficiency, and
• presentation software.
• Programming experience a plus. (Application databases preferred)
• Knowledge of computer operating systems and networking
• Knowledgeable of forensic imaging and analysis procedures as well as forensic software applications such as EnCase, Forensic Toolkit, and WinHex
• Knowledgeable of
• File systems for all kinds of computerized media,
• E-mail systems on servers and clients, and
• Application databases.
• Certificates of accomplishment evidencing special skills.
• Other attributes
• Able to travel when required,
• Able to work effectively in teams or alone,
• Good communication skills both orally and in writing,
• Good presentation skills,
• Disciplined self starter
