Richmond Journal of Law Publishes K&F Founder Greg Fordham's Paper on Using Electronic Search Techniques

ATLANTA, Ga.--The Richmond Journal of Law and Technology (JOLT) will publish an article written by K&F Founder Greg Fordham titled "Using Keyword Search Terms in E-Discovery and Issues Related to Responsiveness, Privilege, Evidence Standards and Rube Goldberg".

The article will appear in Richmond's Annual E-discovery Survey issue that traditionally is published in early April.

The article is very timely considering the number of significant cases in 2008 that decided issues related to the use of computerized search techniques in e-discovery.

Proficiency in computerized search techniques is increasingly important as e-discovery becomes more commonplace and subject to greater and greater cost constraints. Since attorney review is the most expensive part of conducting e-discovery, the use of computerized search techniques are essential in reducing e-discovery costs.

In addition, the presentation details how the adequacy of the search protocol can determine whether privilege was waived in the event of an inadvertent disclosure.
