The K&F File Hasher is a multi-function tool for cataloging or deleting files based on their MD5 hash. 

The hasher works from any read/writeable media such as thumb drives, diskettes or hard drives. The tool is completely stand-alone, so no application program installation is required.

After executing the application the user selects the file or folder of interest the tool will then iterate through the file or folder selected as well as all subfolders and either catalog the files and folders encountered or delete individual files. 

When only cataloging files, a log is created that captures the file system attributes, date and time stamps, file path and  MD5 hash of every file encountered.

The deletion is performed on any files matching the MD5 hashes loaded into the deletion library list.  A log is created of all deletions.

Both the catalog and the deletion log can be loaded into the K&F List Viewer for subsequent examination and analysis.
